What can I offer?
I offer excellent specialist PE coaching which can be delivered through PPA cover; assisted teaching and/or extra-curricular clubs. I can teach a wide variety of sports and provide most of my own equipment including that required for Rugby, Football, Rounders and Basketball and am ever expanding my supply of equipment.
Currently I work in Primary schools - coaching children from Nursery all the way up until year 6 - however I would be more than comfortable in a Secondary school environment and can tailor my sessions to any age group.
I can easily adapt my sessions to fit any facility that a school can offer and can work with indoor and outdoor spaces accordingly.
My time in schools has provided me with lots of experience working with children who are uncomfortable in a sports environment or who have wider learning difficulties and I always work hard to make them feel comfortable so that they gain as much as possible from my classes.

My experience
Qualification: Level 3-5 in Sports Coaching and Development
My first experiences of sports coaching came from working alongside Steve Hoare (South Lakes Sport) running holiday and summer camps offering multiple sports to primary school children - a role I started when I was 15 and continue to participate in.
​
I am also fortunate enough to have had coaching experience in both South Africa - where I worked in Primary schools - and as part of 'HIT Play' in New Zealand who offer sports programmes during school terms and as holidays camps.
​
My work alongside Kendal Rugby club furthered my experience coaching in local Primary schools and then I went onto coach the Kendal Ladies Rugby Team.

More recently I have become the Head Coach for the U16 Cumbria Rugby Union team
